Why Macutex?
Macutex Pty Ltd was established in 2006 by Directors Kino Bruin and Nathan Edwards.
More than 40 years combined professional experience in commercial property and related professional services sectors provided a strong basis for Kino and Nathan to believe that consulting services in the Corporate Real Estate and Asset Management industry could be vastly improved through a different approach and greater focus on client outcomes.
Owners and managers of asset portfolios often lack the information required to make informed and appropriate decisions affecting their asset portfolio. This may be a result of inadequate management systems, time constraints in planning, lack of current asset knowledge or simply under resourced to deliver their business needs.
Macutex recognises that property owners and managers often require strategic support in important areas of their business, be it understanding their statutory responsibilities, establishing a portfolio benchmark for financial planning into the future or creating a base-line asset risk profile.
Macutex’s core business is to support owners and managers of multi-site portfolios to better understand their risks and opportunities when planning and making property related decisions.
Kino Bruin
Kino has formal qualifications in mechanical and electrical engineering and has studied urban land economics in both Canada and Australia.
For the past 25 years Kino has been engaged in the commercial real estate sector at all levels of business relating to property and asset management. With property experience in Canada prior to migrating to Australia, Kino’s most recent 18 years in Australia has seen his involvement at all levels of the Australian property and asset management industry.
Nathan Edwards
Nathan is a tertiary qualified civil and environmental engineer with skills and experience in compliance, risk and environmental management.
His diverse professional experience and knowledge has been gained in senior positions across a variety of industries including facilities management; the finance sector; corporate real estate; risk and insurance broking; and environmental consulting, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
