Asset Condition and Compliance Assessment

Based in the former goldfields of central Victoria, Mount Alexander Shire Council is responsible for a diverse and culturally significant building portfolio, including within many small communities in the region.

Macutex was engaged to conduct an asset condition and compliance assessment of Council’s building portfolio including updating of building layout plans. The project outputs included a 10-year maintenance works schedule and priority action plan to address defect, compliance and operational risk issues.

Collected data was also utilised by Council for asset life-cycle renewal modelling. Macutex provided support in this process including working with Councils third party software provider to ensure data meet all system requirements.

Following the successful delivery of the portfolio-wide assessment program, Macutex has been engaged by Council on a number of occasions to deliver specific asset assessment projects including roof and façade inspections utilising drone technology.
