Building Condition Assessment Discovery Package

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all assessment. It’s an expertly designed pilot study of six buildings, selected from your portfolio, and will provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions about a whole-of-portfolio condition assessment.

The Discovery Package allows you to interrogate methodology and fitness for purpose before committing budget, time and resources to a full program.

We'll provide you with the clarity you need to develop the right program for your organisation and your specific operational needs.

You will gain a clear understanding of your options, budget implications and the level of detail necessary to drive effective portfolio management decisions.

What’s Included?

You will receive two alternative assessment outputs, delivered across a sample set of six buildings selected from your portfolio as follows:

• 2 Small (< 500 sqm)

• 2 Medium (500-1,000 sqm)

• 2 Large (1,000-2,000 sqm)

Assessment Inclusions:

• Condition profiling methodology

• Defect identification and costing methodology

• Two alternative Asset Register Reports:

  - Building-level summary across nine asset component groups

  - Room-level detail across 50+ asset components

• Two alternative Defect Register Reports, so you can choose your preferred approach:

  - Major defects only

  - Full detailed defect register

• End-of-life forecasting & renewal cost estimates

• Five-Year Lifecycle Program

• Floor plan validation (existing plans)

• Interactive data analysis in Power BI 

Optional Add-Ons

If you would like to enhance your Discovery Package further, Macutex also offers:

• Drone inspections for high-res roof and façade visuals

• 3D reality capture of your facilities, including tagging and annotation

• Thermal scanning of electrical switchboards by A-grade electricians

• Building floorplans in PDF and AutoCAD formats
