QLD Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy

In September 2016, the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy engaged Macutex to perform condition assessments across 26 sites, including explosive reserves, comprising of 390 buildings.

The assessments included a data set and accompanying summary reports; multi-site data sets; data for a range of building assessment, e.g. condition, defects, OH&S and BCA (Essential Safety Measures / Disability access) along with interactive pivot charts, which were used to carry out high level data analysis.

By completing this project, the Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy was provided with:

  • A clear understanding of the condition of building assets across the portfolio.
  • Reliable information to allow for accurate budgeting of renewals and maintenance. 
  • Clarity on expenditure breakdowns using interactive dashboards to display results.
  • A suite of building plans and photos to enable the\ client better visualise their assets.

Our auditor assessed 26 sites across Queensland, comprising 171 buildings and structures totaling approximately 30,000,000 m2.
